Lämpimästi tervetuloa Ollilan Hunajatilan maailmaan!

Vierailu mehiläishoitajan luona on aina erityinen elämys, joka puhuttelee kaikkia aisteja ja saattaa jopa muuttaa maailmankuvaasi.

Olemme pieni mutta hieno mehiläisystävällinen mehiläistarha. Pyrimme olemaan häiritsemättä ekosysteemin tasapainoa pitämällä tarhamehiläisiä tasapainoisesti ja lajinmukaisesti, emmekä jätä muita pörriäisiä huomiotta. Mehiläisemme asuvat puupesissä, jotka ovat mehiläisten suosimaa materiaalia.

Hunaja – kukasta purkkiin – on pitkä prosessi.
Se on todellinen ja terveellinen slow food. Tuotamme hunajaamme erityisen huolellisesti: emme kuumenna korkealaatuista hunajaamme, jotta se säilyttää terveelliset ainesosansa, emmekä lisää siihen mitään tai ota pois. Luonnollista hunajaa.

Hunajatilamme sijaitsee metsäisellä paikalla Merikarvian sydämessä, kaukana kaikesta. Tarjoamme muun muassa: hunajaputiikki (verkkoputiikkiimme löytyy täältä), opastusta mehiläisten maailmaan niin lapsille kuin aikuisille sekä api-gusto-elämyksiä – lämpimästi tervetuloa.

Jos haluat vierailla pienemmässä ryhmässä ja oppia lisää tarhamehiläisistä ja hunajasta (kesto: noin 1 tunti ja 45 minuuttia, sisältäen kahvia ja pientä purtavaa; saatavilla myös englanniksi ja saksaksi), ota yhteyttä ja sovi vierailu kanssamme!

A warm welcome to the world of Ollilan Hunajatila
(hunaja = Finnish, honey; tila = Finnish, farm).
A visit to a beekeeper is always a special experience that engages all your senses and may even change your perspective on the world.

We are a small but bee-friendly apiary. We aim to preserve the balance of the ecosystem by keeping our honey bees in a way that is both balanced and species-appropriate, and we don’t neglect other pollinators. Our honey bees live in wooden hives, which are the bees’ preferred material.

Honey – from flower to jar – is a long process.
A true and healthy slow food. We produce our honey with extra care: we don’t heat our high-quality honey, allowing it to retain its healthy ingredients, and we don’t add or remove anything.

Our honey farm is located in a forested area in the heart of Merikarvia, far from everything. We offer a honey boutique (visit our online boutique here), guidance into the world of bees for both children and adults, and api-gusto (a tasting of different types of honey) – you are warmly welcome!

If you would like to visit with a smaller group and learn more about honey bees and honey (duration: about 1 hour and 45 minutes, including coffee and snacks, also available in Finnish and German), we would be delighted to host you! Please contact us to arrange a date.
